- Pranayama- dynamic Breathing with control of the life force.
- Pratyahara- Withdrawal of the sense organs from external objects.
- Dharana- Fixing the concentration.
- Dhyana- Intense contemplation.
- Samādhi- merging consciousness with the Supreme Divine.
