Itinerary and programs

 

The Journey will start from October 11 to 31, 2019, travel itinerary from New Delhi to Rishikesh and beyond.

Day 1: New Delhi

Visiting Akshardham temple and Lotus temple

 

Days 2-9: Rishikesh (from October 12th)

Visiting temples, Ganga arati, caves, including top of hill pilgrimage Kunjapuri and Haridwar. The Yog-Sadhana retreat will start the second day after arriving Rishikesh.

 

Day 9-10: Devaprayag

Devaprayaga is the sacred event of merging two holy rivers, Alakananda and Bhagirathi, and take the name, Ganga. Devprayag is surrounded by three peaks, named Giddhanchal Parvat, Dashrathanchal Parvat, and Narsinghancal Parvat. visiting Raghunnath Ji temple, Tondeshwar Mahadev temple, and Dhaneshwar Mahadev. And have a dip in the confluence of rivers and meditate at its banks.

 

Days 11-13: Rudraprayag

Rudraprayag is the point of confluence of rivers Alaknanda and Mandakini. Places nearby are: 1. Rudranath Temple Rudraprayag is named after Lord Shiva and temple of lord Rudranath is situated at the confluence of Alaknanda and Mandakini. Narada Muni worshipped Shiva here to learn music from him. Lord Shiva taught him music in his form of Rudra (Lord of Music). There used to be a rock called Narad Shila where Narada is said to have sat in meditation. 2. Chamunda Devi 3. Koteshwar Koti 4. Basukedar

 

Days 14-20: Almora, Nainital, and Ranikhet

Nainital is a headquarters of Nainital district in the Kumaon foothills of the Himalayas. Nainital is set in a valley containing a pear-shaped lake, approximately two miles in circumference, and surrounded by mountains i.e. Naina, Deopatha and Ayarpatha.

The extremely Divine Energized place above Ranikhet upward climbs on Drongiri Mountain, where grande guru of Paramhansa Yogananda, Sri Lahiri Mahashata met Mahavatar Babaji. (Chapter 34, Autobiography of a Yogi)

Kainchi Dham is situated 35 km from Nainital, in the Kumaon Hills, where Neem Karoli Baba spent much of his later years. Mark Zuckerberg, founder of Facebook revealed that he had visited a temple in India on the advice ofSteve Jobs, the Apple co-founder, who had experienced life-changing spiritual reflection in the 70s. The Kainchi village has the transcendental energy of Supreme divine, which pours the Grace upon all living beings.

Bhimtal is a town situated at an altitude of 1370 meters above sea level and is about 22 kilometers from Nainital. Bhimtal Lake has an island at its center. Bhimtal is an ancient place named after Bhima of Mahabharata, 5000 years ago. Bhimeshwara Mahadev Temple, an old Shiva temple in the bank of Bhimtal lake have been built when Bhima visited the place. The present temple was built in the 17th century, a King of the Chand dynasty.

There are also sacred places near Nainital: 1. Naukhuchiatal 2. Saat tal 3. Ramgarh 4. Mukteshwar.

 

Days 21: Return to New Delhi

 

 

Daily routine:

At morning yog and pranayama and Yog-sadhana classes with question answer session helping in the assessment of change in personality. After breakfast visiting places. In the late afternoon meditation session and individual spiritual consultancy.

After breakfast, visit places.

At the end of the afternoon, the session of meditation and individual spiritual consultation.

For lunch and dinner, you can choose between several restaurants, for a minimum budget of 8 €.

You will be staying in a hostel or hotel, in a room of 2/4 or more persons depending on the location.
